Flat Iron with a creamy green sauce

Herbaceous, tangy & citrusy; jazz up steak night with a Triple C Flat Iron smothered in a green sauce. I took this over to Mom and Dads and Mom said she could eat this everyday! Quick prep & a full bodied dinner, coming up! 

Ingredients: 

Sauce: 

  • 1/2 c. Fresh Cilantro 
  • 3-4 garlic cloves 
  • 1 jalapeno 
  • 1 lime. juiced 
  • 1/4 cup Cardenas Lime Olive Oil ( found in store!)
  • 1/2 c. Mayonaise 
  • Course Salt & Pepper to taste

Steak:

  • 1 Triple C Flat Iron Steak 
  • 1/2 pack of Salty Acres Salt 
  • Course ground pepper 

Preparation: 

  • Add all sauce ingredients into a food processor & pulse until creamy ( you can also chop everything fine & mix together if you don't have a food processor!( 
  • Heat up grill or cast iron to high heat 
  • Generously salt and pepper both sides of Triple C Flat Iron 
  • Cook on both sides for about 4 minutes or until internal temperature is 125°
  • Remove & let rest for 5 minutes 
  • Cut Flat Iron thin & against the grain 
  • Pour Sauce over your steak & enjoy!
